Meet Heather Lytle, our Bakery Manager; Glynis Garbutt, our Deli/Restaurant Manager; and Claudia Sommerfeld, our Produce Manager.

Day in and Day out these 3 department managers give 100% and truly care about our company and our customers. Their dedication speaks for itself when you see how organized and inviting our fresh departments are.

Kristen is a 10 year service award recipient as of December 18, 2025. Kristen seeks challenges, learns quickly and pivots to operational support as needed. You will find her across the store helping our team and customers; receiving freight, participating on the H & S committee, writing orders, and you’ll hear her laugh all the way across the store! 

Linda Coles, 31 years with Quality Foods, many of them as the head cashier. She is truly an amazing woman; everyone's go‑to for help and information. She runs the front end with such kindness and top‑not customer service she instills in all the cashiers. We are truly lucky to have her as a solid team member, leader and friend.

Dee prides herself on being a cheerleader for empowering women and equality. She works in our produce dept in Qualicum, where she is a role model to many of our youth there. She is very community-minded as she was a volunteer firefighter for 10 years with our local Dashwood Fire hall and has done multiple community events for the Legion. You will always find Dee with a smile on her face, stocking the vegetables, joking with customers and telling everyone in her path to " Have a happy day!"

When you hear Westshore, Alison first comes to mind. Alison's hard work is reflective of her Dairy and Freezer department. She is always the first one to jump in and help with a positive attitude and a quirky joke. Alison has a special connection to our elderly customers, always taking time to see how their day is going and how she can help. She will often use her own time to have lunch with the elderly. 

Maggie believes in continuous learning, personal growth, and always striving for bigger opportunities. Maggie loves her community and ensures our customers feel welcome and is always ready to help. Maggie is well respected among her peers for being approachable, reasonable, and making work fun with her great personality and ability to lead any team to success.
